BitGive Foundation launched on Monday its COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund to raise $20,000 to support medical workers, impoverished/vulnerable communities, and hourly workers who lost their job due to the pandemic. 

BitGive will collaborate with nonprofit organizations to use the fund to supply health workers with PPE, send mobile and contactless payments to hard-hit communities, and offer cash to struggling servers and delivery drivers. Established in 2013, BitGive is the first US-based nonprofit organization that utilizes the blockchain technology and Bitcoin to support fast, secure, and transparent donations.
