Bitget has officially integrated with the Sahyog portal under India's Internet Crime Coordination Center (I4C), becoming one of the few global cryptocurrency exchanges to join the system. Sahyog serves as the official collaboration interface between Indian law enforcement agencies and digital service providers. This integration means Bitget will respond to data requests from Indian law enforcement agencies through legal and compliant channels, in accordance with Section 94 of the Indian Citizen Security Act and Section 79(3)(b) of the Information Technology Act.
Bitget's Chief Legal Officer, Hon Ng, stated: 'India is an important market in our global strategy. Integrating with the Sahyog platform is a significant step for Bitget to comply with local regulations and strengthen compliance cooperation. We will continue to optimize our compliance system to support law enforcement agencies in the governance and regulation of digital assets.'
Against the backdrop of increasing global regulatory scrutiny, Bitget is actively deepening its compliance efforts in major markets. By joining Sahyog, Bitget not only enhances its collaboration with Indian regulatory authorities but also demonstrates its long-term commitment to building a transparent and trustworthy encrypted ecosystem.
