A recent survey released by the cryptocurrency asset management company CoinShares revealed that despite over 80% of high net worth and ultra-high net worth investors seeking advice on crypto assets from financial advisors, many do not trust the advisors' professional abilities. The survey indicated that investors generally believe advisors lack practical experience and struggle to accurately explain risks, becoming a barrier to trust. CoinShares CEO Jean-Marie Mognetti stated that investors are no longer satisfied with passive advice and instead want advisors to be strategic partners who understand crypto, can educate, and manage risks. Data shows that 89% of holders plan to increase crypto investments by 2025, with over half monitoring or trading daily, indicating that crypto assets have become a core allocation. Additionally, compliant products such as ETFs and trusts are gradually replacing exchanges as investors' preferred entry points. CoinShares pointed out that as the market matures, whether advisors truly understand crypto assets will determine the depth of their relationship with clients.
