According to reports from TRM Labs, a blockchain intelligence company, the cryptocurrency industry suffered losses of up to $2.1 billion in the first half of 2025 due to hacker attacks, with over 80% stemming from vulnerabilities in infrastructure such as private key theft, mnemonic hijacking, and front-end hijacking.
