The attackers seized contract permissions to mint and sell NFTs, causing the floor price to drop to zero, with an initial estimated total loss exceeding $1 million, including approximately $310,000 stolen from ChainSaw-related projects. The stolen funds were traced to exchanges such as MEXC.
