In a recent announcement on X platform, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino revealed that the open-source password manager PearPass has begun testing and will soon be open-sourced on the platform. PearPass is a fully localized open-source password manager that does not require cloud services or servers, allowing users to independently manage keys and securely store them on their devices. Ardoino disclosed that PearPass will support mobile and desktop versions, as well as introduce a browser extension.
