From a first-principles perspective, I don't think it's reasonable for meme coins to fall due to the launch of pump.fun tokens. Investors buy Fartcoin not because they want exposure to the meme market as a whole, but because they are attracted to its volatility and its name itself. I really don't understand why a TGE of a revenue-generating platform would cause such significant fluctuations in marginal capital flow for coins like Fartcoin.
If I had to say, I think this is more like a buying opportunity for meme coins. However, I'm not too sure about this, just jotting down my thoughts in real time.
