The U.K.’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has released a statement banning cryptocurrency derivatives for retail investors after deliberating on the issue over the past year. The ban will begin on January 6, 2021. The FCA finds the derivatives dangerous, inconsistent, and misunderstood by retail investors.
