According to reports, native USDC and CCTP V2 have officially launched on the Sei network. Circle Mint fully supports native USDC on Sei, providing institutional users with USDC liquidity access through Sei's high-performance infrastructure. Leveraging Sei's high-performance architecture, over 13 cross-chain stablecoin transfers with no bridging and no slippage have been achieved. Users of the old version Sei USDC.n can still use it, but will gradually migrate to the new version of Sei native USDC. Sei is accelerating its development as a core cross-chain financial infrastructure. The native USDC brings institutional-grade financial infrastructure to Sei. Unlike cross-chain bridged tokens with counterparty risks and usage friction, Sei native USDC is issued directly by Circle on Sei, providing developers with the trust and capital efficiency they need.
