San Francisco-based crypto start-up, River Financial, announced that it closed a seed round with $5.7 million funding raised from Polychain Capital, Slow Ventures, Castle Island Ventures, and more, per CoinDesk.

According to the company’s CEO, Alex Leishman, River Financial offers a spot market, cold-storage solution, and private client product for family offices and high-net-worth individuals. The firm intends to be a go-to bank for BTC investors and expand its current coverage of 15 states to 40 in the summer.

Leishman expects River Financial to generate more profits in the year, as, so far, its volume has grown by 80% since January.
