Coinbase announced on June 17 that the exchange is launching an open-source specification and set of tools, dubbed as Rosetta, to make listing tokens on the platform simpler, faster, and more trustworthy.

Coinbase tweeted the three advantages of Rosetta, which include “onboard faster with exchanges and apps”; “build while ensuring strict security constraints are met”; and “grow adoption by making code predictable and easier to debug.”

Some blockchain teams – Filecoin, Celo, Oasis, Ontology, Sia, and more – have started using the Rosetta tools and provided feedback.
