After recieveing approval from the New York State Department of Financial Services Binance, global cryptocurrency exchange platform, and Paxos, digital asset trust company, have annouced their partnershio for a USD-backed stablecoin, BUSD. BUSD will be avalible later in September for purchase and redemption on Paxos and Bianance.com. Rich Teo, co-founder and CEO of Paxos, stated in a press release that "We are proud that our stablecoin as a service offering enables trusted companies like Binance to introduce products customized for their users. The Paxos brand symbolizes regulatory integrity, consumer protection and transparency for all of our partners." CEO of Binance, CZ, has expressed his excitement and egerness to work with Paxos in a statement, "We hope to unlock more financial services for the greater blockchain ecosystem through the issuance of BUSD, including more use cases and utility through the power of stable digital assets."
