Washington Examiner reported on June 17 that U.S. President Donald Trump told Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin to “go after Bitcoin” for fraud in May 2018, as recorded in John Bolton’s new book The Room Where It Happened.

President Donald Trump tweeted 22 minutes ago that he thinks Bolton’s book “is a compilation of lies and made up stories, all intended to make me look bad.”

According to the report, the U.S. Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against John Bolton on Tuesday and asked a judge to stop the release of the book, which was set for June 23, because the book contains classified material. John Bolton was a former assistant to the president for National Security Affairs (NSA).
