Apple is dipping a toe into the world of cryptocurrency with their new cryptographic development tool, according to Forbes. Apple announced their new iPhone app at the Worldwide Developers Conference Wednesday. The CryptoKit app is taking the place of the former CommonCrypto app that was available on IOS. The app will allow users to, “compute and compare cryptographically secure digests, use public-key cryptography to evaluate digital signatures, and to perform key exchange,” Apple announced. While it seems Apple is beggining to come around on Cryptocurrency, they were reluctant to admit it.  During the announcment of the app Apple never mentioned the words blockchain or cryptocurrency.
