Boerse Stuttgart Group Launches Mobile Cryptocurrency Trading App

Germany's 2nd-largest stock exchange, Boerse Stuttgart Group released its new crypto trading mobile application BISON on January 31.

The app is the very first crypto trading application backed by a traditional German securities exchange as well.

With an objective “to enable a simple entry into the world of cryptocurrencies – made in Germany,” according to Boerse Stuttgart Group’s press release issued today, BISON will provide services to other EU countries outside Germany as well in 2019, add more cryptos based on criteria such as each crypto’s market value, and additional functions, such as extending trading days to 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

As for now, the app supports transactions of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoins and Ripple (XRP).

The developer for the mobile trading app is a subsidiary of Boerse Stuttgart Digital Ventures, Sowa Labs fintech.

The CEO of Sowa Labs, Ulli Spankowski said in the press release that BISON provides users with a simple registration and identification process, which takes just a few minutes.

Meanwhile, BISON's innovative feature Cryptoradar uses AI to assist users with understanding the market sentiment on Twitter via collecting and analyzing approximately 250,000 real-time tweets each day from the crypto community.

Similar to BISON, another mobile crypto trading app was announced in December by the Gemini Exchange, which also allows users to purchase and sell cryptos at any time, and monitor real-time and historical transaction prices for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoins, Bitcoin Cash and ZCash. At the same time, users can also view the total value of their current encrypted portfolio.
