According to Kyodo, G20 member countries will meet on June 8thand 9thin Fukuoka, Japan, discussing international cryptocurrency Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulation. According to official plan, G20 central bank governors and finance ministers will attend the meeting. The purpose is to combat crypto-enabled money laundering and terrorism financing. Member countries are hoped to reach out an agreement to establish stricter identification of individuals transacting in crypto at the moment of transaction, increase transparency, and reinforce anti-anonymity.
