Bitcoin miners made $85 million less in June than in May, data from glassnode shows.

Bitcoin's mempool grew during the halving in May, causing transaction fees to increase. By June, miners had worked through most of the built-up pool and transaction fees began to decline. Miner revenue dropped from $366 million in May to $281 million in June.

Block rewards for miners will remain constant until 2024, until then miners can only make more money when network fees or Bitcoin's price goes up.
