CCN the cryptocurrency news outlet, may not have to shutdown after all, according to CoinTelegraph. CCN was set to shutdown their site due to a sudden lack of site traffic coming from the Google searches.
The lack of traffic had come after a Google update had caused a massive traffic drop among all cryptocurrency news sites. CCN published an article stating they would be shutting down due to Googles update and alleged that Google could possible be directing searches elsewhere on purpose. CCN pulled a 180 today as they announced instead they will try and understand the update and why they’re less visible.
This new outlook on the situation when a user had mentioned to CCN that their newest article were appearing under their old name, CyptoCoinsNews. This new finding doesn’t guarantee that CCN will remain open, but it does at least postpone their closing to a later date.
