The state of Ohio will no longer be allowing businesses to pay taxes via Bitcoin, according to CoinTelegraph.

In a press release Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague announced that the suspension of the OhioCrypto.com website. It appears the suspension comes after the website was administered without the approval of the Board of Deposit.

Not only was that crucial step missed but since it is constituted a “financial transaction device” which requires  the firm to be selected under a competitive selection process
