The United Kingdoms main financial regulator the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) reportedly has seen a 74% growth in crypto investigations, according to Financial Times.

This number of investigations sat at just 50 cases in 2018 but has risen to 87 cases in 2019. While it seems that government has become more hands on with cryptocurrency, this is good for the industry as it shows it is becoming more legitimate and hopefully weeding out those who seek to do bad in the industry.
