Startup blockchain platform Offchain Labs, announced on Oct. 10, that they held a $3.7 million seed round with the company Pantera Capital investing the largest amount, according to TechCrunch.

Offchain is committed to creating more scalable smarts contracts that also take some of the process off out of the public blockchain so that it has more privacy. Compund VC, Blocknation’s Raphael Ouzan, Jake Seid and many others invested in the startup.
