According to Coindesk, Fintech giant PayPal has chosen Paxos to handle the digital asset supply for the new service, two people familiar with the matter said. Paypal plans to bring encrypted transactions to its vast user base.

New York-based Paxos launched its Paxos password brokerage business last week, announcing that its first customer would be a fintech company that offers bitcoin transactions by Revolut US. A formal announcement of the paypal partnership could come as early as this week, a source said.
