Polkadot will start the third coin offering at 03:00 on July 24 (UTC). Investors from the US, Japan, and Taiwan will not be able to participate in the offering.
Polkadot has opened a new page on its website, collecting information of those who are interested in this new round of offering, which will offer 300,000 DOT at a price of $120 during the first 72 hours and $145 thereafter.
Investors who buy DOT in the coin offering will have their coins locked for five months, but these DOT can still be used for collateral and voting.
In 2017, one DOT was sold for $35 in the initial coin offering (ICO) and $120 in the second coin offering in 2019.
