Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Liquid is now delisting Zcash (ZEC) along with 28 other coins in order to comply with Singaporean regulations, announced on July 22 by the Electric Coin Company who developed Zcash. Liquid has not made any official announcement yet.

“We believe Liquid’s decision was made out of an abundance of caution for the purpose of quickly obtaining a license”, tweeted the company. Though Zcash is a cryptocurrency focused on privacy, the company stressed that Zcash is entirely compatible with AML/CFT regulations.
