Xpring, the investment arm and tech incubator of Ripple, has invested in Swedish startup Towo Labs to create a hardware wallet firmware, according to the company’s blog post.

The plan for Towo Labs is to develop a new version of the XRP toolkit and allow the firmware to accept all XRP Ledger transaction types. The new firmware will support cross-currency payments, escrows, orders and trustline.
