Ransomware gang Evil Corp is demanding $10 million worth of crypto to restore control over key functionalities to international tech company Garmin after a successful ransomware attack, as reported by Cointelegraph.

The company's support services and navigation solutions, among other things, were affected by the attack. The Russian cyber criminals are notorious with the leader, Maksim Yakubets, making it onto the FBI's most wanted list with a $5 million reward attached.

Recent sanctions against the known cyber gang mean that if Garmin pays the ransom, they could be in trouble with the U.S. government.
