The Chinese community of TON announced in a July 28 blog post that it has launched the community version of the TON Testnet – TON Testnet3, enabling the crypto transfer service on Telegram.
The official version of the TON Testnet will be removed before August 1. Meanwhile, the team added that they are airdropping the TON token to all Telegram users.
As previously reported, the Chinese TON Community voiced its intention to launch a separate TON-based network in late May after Telegram CEO Pavel Durov officially shut down the firm’s involvement in the project.
