Chairwoman Maxine Water harkened back to comments made by Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook’s CEO, earlier this week and asked If Facebook would do any fact checking on political ads.

Zuckerberg responded that the current Facebook policy is not to fact-check politicians’ speech, because they believe that it is important to see what politicians are saying, but they do contract people to fact-check their other ads.
