According to a press release from Marsh, a Canada-based global insurance broker,the company will introduce a blockchain platform for U.S. commercial users to obtain proof of insurance (POI). On April 28, POI will be rolled out for the first time as a proof of concept to provide more reliable insurance coverage and speed up business processes. The users will soon be able to obtain insurance certificates through blockchain-driven digital applications. Currently, Marsh's selected customer base will be able to use the program and search, view, issue, and reissue certificates.
