Micree Ketuan Zhan has been terminated from his positions as co-founder and executive director of Beijing-based bitcoin mining machine manufacturer, Bitmain, according to CoinDesk.
Jihan Wu, another co-founder of the company and the new chairman of the board, sent an email out to the staff of Bitmain at around noon Beijing time on Tuesday. The letter entitled “important notice” told staff of Zhan’s firing and to no longer “take any direction from Zhan, or participate in any meeting organized by Zhan." The employees were told that failure to do so would be cause for Bitmain to "consider terminating employment contracts of those who violate this note.”
