Jeromy Johnson, a software engineer of Filecoin, a distributed storage network, tweeted “The next reset of the Filecoin testnet will include an implementation of EIP1559. I think it’s a critical improvement to the block space auction, very excited to see how it performs under real load.” Though Ethereum’s founder Vitalik Buterin expressed his advocacy of EIP1559 as he considered it an important proposal to relieve the gas fee issue in short term, he stressed that the real solution was to improve ETH’s scalability.
