Coinbase has left the Blockchain Association — an industry lobbying group —  citing concerns over recent unnamed decisions as the impetus for leaving, as reported by Coindesk.

Rival exchange Binance joined the Blockchain Association the day before Coinbase announced it would be leaving, but it is unclear if the events are related. Coinbase holds one of eight seats on the Association's board.
