China No Longer Categorizing Bitcoin Mining As An Industry To Be Phased Out

China has flipped their stance on Bitcoin mining, as the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has removed bitcoin mining from their industries that need to be phased out list.

The NDRC, a top level planning agency, published the Catalog for Guiding Industry Restructuring on Wednesday. The Catalog will take effect on Jan. 1, 2020. This version is set to replace the current one from 2011. All previous notions of removing anything related to virtual currency or bitcoin mining have been removed.
