According to coindesk.com, carmaker Jaguar Land Rover may soon encourage drivers to share data by rewarding them for cryptocurrencies. It is currently experimenting with blockchain technology, allowing users to enable their cars to receive IOTA tokens and automatically report road condition data, such as traffic congestion, to navigation service providers or local authorities. Jaguar Land Rover said on Monday that the initiative was implemented in partnership with the non-profit organization IOTA Foundation.
