Crypto trading platform OKEx has threatened to delist ETC if the Ethereum community does not improve security following a $5.6 million hack, according to a recent announcement.

Earlier in August hackers used an alternative "shadow chain" identical to the main ETC chain and used it to double spend their $5 million worth of assets. OKEx had to reimburse users with their own funds, taking on the entire cost of the attack.

OKEx claims in its report that the Ethereum community did not communicate well with the rest of the crypto world. The exchange has suspended all ETC deposits and withdrawals and plans to extend confirmation times on the chain. OKEx ended its report writing that it would consider delisting ETC if security concerns are not addressed.
