Josh de Mol, the billionaire Dutch media tycoon, sued Facebook for failing to remove advertisements that misused his and other local celebrities’ likenesses, after several requests were made for the ads to be taken down.

According to Reuters, the court ordered Facebook to pull the offending ads or be fined up to 1.1 million euros ($1.2 million). De Mol’s suit requested that Facebook take measures to stop the issue from happening again and to give de Mol information on the scammers who created the ads, which took 1.7 million euros ($1.8 million) from investors.
