Developer of the EOSIO software, Block.One, has announced  they will begin participating in the elections of block producers (BPs) on the EOS blockchain.

Block.One is a significant voter because it currently holds nearly 9.5% of the circulating supply of EOS tokens. This gives Block.One almost one-tenth of the voting power for the election of BPs.

EOS is a network that built on delegated proof-of-stake (DPoS), in which the 21 BPs are elected by coin holders.
