In the 2020 Global Blockchain Eco-Conference sponsored by Alchemy pay, Binance CEO Zhao Changpeng (CZ) delivered a speech titled “Binance’s Eco-construction and Compliance Development”. He believes only 10% of DeFi projects will succeed in the long run, but DeFi will bring breakthroughs in the blockchain industry.
“Currently, cryptocurrencies account for less than 0.2% of the global asset market. What we need to do is bring the figure to for 2% and then 20%, namely to grow it 10x, 20x. This, I believe, is more important than getting more market shares within the current crypto market," CZ commented.
CZ emphasized Binance’s efforts in implementing safety measures and compliance, such as collaborating with law enforcement authorities to combat money laundering activities.
He also hopes Binance to be the bridge between traditional financial markets and digital currencies.
