the custody arm of hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger, Ledger Vault, has acquired a crime insurance policy built by broker and risk advisory firm Marsh and insurance company Arch Insurance Limited.

Ledger Vault’s platform will now provide users with a customized cryptocurrency related crime insurance program for up to $150 million. This insurance program pertains to third-party theft of the master seed and private keys, insider Ledger employee theft caused by collusion and safe transmissions of the master seed fragments.
