Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro Announced the Christmas Bonuses received by retirees and pensioners will now be paid to them in the national cryptocurrency.

Venezuelan retirees and pensioners will be forced to take the Venezuela’s Petro coin and this isn’t the first instance of Venezuelan government pushing the Petro. In December of last year Venezuelan pensioners’ yearly bonuses were automatically converted to Petro.
