The Winklevoss twins’ Gemini exchange went through with its first-ever purchase by acquiring the Nifty Gateway platform, which allows customers to buy and manage non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Tyler Winklevoss announced the acquisition via blog post on Nov. 19, describing Nifty Gateway as a unique asset on a blockchain that unlike other cryptocurrencies is a one-of-a-kind and therefore not interchangeable.
