Jeff Dorman, the head of investment at asset manager Arca, told Bloomberg that the reason for cryptocurrency’s latest downturn is because “no new money is coming into the ecosystem.” Consumers have shifted their focus towards stocks, bonds and gold because they’re all up double-digits year-to-date, which has made the “world lose focus on this emerging asset class."
