The metric measures the number of Bitcoin addresses holding a positive amount of coins. The previous all-time-high was reported on Friday, August 28 indicating that more people have been acquiring Bitcoin over recent days even as the price has continued to rise. At the time of writing Bitcoin is trading at $11,987 and is up 2.30%.
