Coinbase is planning to launch a token crowdfunding platform for crypto startups trying to get off the ground, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong confirmed in a podcast interview on Tuesday, August 11.

The product will walk startup operators through the process of an initial coin offering covering custody, smart contract creation, governance and distribution. 

Armstrong went on to say that the platform could help supercharge the crypto economy by paving the way for thousands of startups.
