According to a Chinese blockchain news outlet, the second trial of Bitmain suing the three founders of Poolin.com ended. The three founders, namely PAN Zhibiao, LI Tianzhao and ZHU Fa, had to pay 1.386 million yuan, 1.224 million yuan and 1.056 million yuan respectively for breach of competition restrictions.
Compared with the first-trial judgment, the secondary court increased the amount of penalty for violating competition restrictions, but did not support Bitmain’s compensation for losses of up to tens of millions. PAN, LI and ZHU were former employees of Bitmain mining pool BTC.com, and founded the Poolin after resign.
