Onguard, the Netherlands-based credit management firm, published a survey on Dec. 5, that found about 29% of finance professionals had no idea what blockchain is, and another 19% didn’t understand how it could be used in finance, making a total of 48% of financial advisors ignorant about blockchain.
The Verdict conducted a survey on the awareness of blockchain and its benefits in the financial services industry. The report found that while 57% of CFO’s have used or are planning to use blockchain but it appears the knowledge isn’t being passed down as 52% of finance professionals said blockchain was never mentioned in meetings.
