Brian Armstrong, the CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, published a Twitter thread that questioned Apple block Coinbase to add some functionalities in its IOS app. 

The functionalities include the ability to earn money using cryptocurrency and the ability to access DeFi apps or Dapps.

Armstrong thought Apple will hold back the world's progress if it insists reluctant to solve these problems, he added:" Someday, cryptocurrency could even be integrated into IAP to give people in emerging markets better access to the financial system globally."

Armstrong said the Coinbase is planning to submit a formal request for Apple to allow its users to earn crypto and see a list of decentralized finance apps.
