The New York Department of Financial Services is ready to amend the infamous BitLicense, which could lead to a more painstaking process for listing coins, according to TheBlock.

The NYDFS is proposing two new options to the coin listing process. One would be to propose a page that shows a list of coins allowed by the agency.
