According to CNN, as the Trump administration's executive orders against the China-owned app TikTok and WeChat will come into effect, The Commerce Department sets to restrict download of the two apps on Sunday. 

The Commerce Department stated that any improving or updating of WeChat or TikTok on the app store will be prohibited. As to current U.S.Wechat users, it will be illegal to host or transfer internet traffic associated with it.
