One half of the Gemini exchange twins — Tyler Winklevoss — once again compared Bitcoin to gold in a tweet on Monday, September 21.

"Bitcoin is better at being gold than gold — and not just incrementally, but by an order of magnitude or 10X better." he wrote.

Along with the message Winklevoss attached a chart comparing the two assets across categories including scarcity, durability, portability, divisibility, storage, counterfeit difficulty and adoption.

The only category gold beat out Bitcoin in was adoption. Gold has a market capitalization of $9 trillion compared to Bitcoin's $200 billion.

Gold has long been established as an inflation-resistant store of value and Bitcoin has become increasingly popular as a similar safe haven asset rather than a payments method.
